
Suresh Wadkar

Suresh Wadkar is a distinguished Indian playback singer celebrated for his rich voice and emotional range. He has lent his art to Hindi and Marathi cinema, as well as devotional, ghazal and regional music across languages.
Trained in Hindustani classical music, Wadkar’s early life saw him shift from the wrestling ring to the classroom of melody, eventually finding his calling in song. A breakthrough win in the 1976 Sur-Singar competition led to his playback debut in 1977 under composer Ravindra Jain.
Over decades his voice has carried the emotional weight of films such as Prem Rog, Sadma and Ram Teri Ganga Maili, while his devotional and regional songs have woven him into the cultural fabric of India.
Honoured with the Padma Shri in 2020 and the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 2018, Wadkar continues to teach and inspire, proving that the truest legacy resides in both the song and the soul behind it.


Mugdha Karhade

Music found Mugdha Karhade at the tender age of ten, and since then, it has become her truest language of expression. Guided first by Guru Archana Kanhereji, Mugdha began her journey into the world of Indian Classical Music, learning the depth, grace, and discipline that form its foundation. Her training expanded under the tutelage of the renowned singer Shubha Joshi ji, who introduced her to the delicate art of Ghazal and Thumri singing—genres that shaped her emotional sensitivity and melodic expression.
While pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mugdha’s artistic spirit flourished as she took the stage as the lead vocalist of Ravi Iyer’s fusion band, TERRACOTTAA, performing at iconic venues such as Blue Frog, Hard Rock Café, and Jazz by the Bay. Eager to understand sound beyond performance, she completed a Sound Engineering course from Mumbai University, grounding her creativity in technical finesse.
Her mentors, Avadhoot Gupte and Milind Date, have been instrumental in shaping her musical journey. Mugdha’s debut playback song, “Visar Tu” from the film Ek Tara—composed by Avadhoot Gupte—earned her the Radio Mirchi Award for Best Upcoming Female Vocalist, a milestone that marked her arrival as a distinctive voice in contemporary Indian music.
Since then, Mugdha has collaborated with several leading music directors and has sung in Marathi, Hindi, Urdu, and English, bringing her soulful versatility to every language she performs in. Her live performances have captivated audiences across India and internationally—from Maharashtra and Delhi to Los Angeles and Dubai.
Alongside her artistic pursuits, Mugdha shares her knowledge as a mentor on acclaimed Marathi reality shows such as Sur Nava Dhyas Nava and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa – Children’s Special. A multifaceted talent, she also lends her expressive voice to the world of dubbing and voice-over artistry.

Shubhangi is a devoted vocalist whose musical journey is deeply rooted in the rich traditions of Indian Classical Music. She began her training under the affectionate mentorship of late Mrs. Shobha Abhyankar, the mother of the renowned classical maestro Pt. Sanjeev Abhyankar, and late Pt. Ramesh Sukhtankar, both of whom shaped her early musical sensibilities.
Currently Shubhangi continues to pursue training under the guidance of Pt. Hemant Pendse, further refining her artistry and deepening her connection with classical music.
A performer since childhood, Shubhangi has graced numerous stages across India and abroad, presenting soulful renditions in both Classical and Light Music (Hindi and Marathi). Her performances are marked by emotional depth, tonal clarity, and a natural ability to connect with her audience.
Beyond classical repertoire, Shubhangi’s creative spirit finds expression in diverse genres. She has recorded albums in the World Music, Relaxation, and Meditation categories— where her serene voice and subtle musicality create an atmosphere of calm and introspection. Milind Date

Milind Date is an acclaimed Indian flautist and composer, known for his mastery of the bansuri and his inventive musical voice. He studied under the legendary Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia and has performed more than 4,500 concerts spanning Indian classical, fusion and world-music styles.
